Vista Planning brings forward over eighteen years of experience in working with diverse communities, multiple levels of government, the business sector, and academic research environments.
Dena Kae Beno, President and CEO, of Vista Planning is dedicated to building strong working relationships that value diversity, integrity, mutual respect and tolerance for people, places, and the environment. We strive towards bridging the gaps between the technical and social skills that are required in project delivery to foster corporate social responsibility, increased communication, transparency, multiple perspectives and environmental stewardship, while contributing to the economic well-being, profitability, and success of the clients, businesses and organizations we serve.
Dena Kae Beno has over eighteen years of construction and community development experience. She holds a B.A. in Geography with an extended minor in Anthropology from Simon Fraser University and a M.A. in Anthropology from Simon Fraser University with a focus on the sustainable development of affordable housing in Metro Vancouver. The focus of her academic work has been in socio-cultural planning, land use planning, community based action research, collaborative planning and sustainable construction and community development.
Dena Kae Beno has worked with Housing and Urban Development- First Nations Programs, construction companies working in North and South America, and with various non-profit organizations. She has a diverse set of planning skills that aid in the development of programs and communication initiatives to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and meet project demands. |
